Our Policies
Pricing
Each provider has different rates based on their years of experience. Please contact us for more detailed pricing.
Payment
Payment for services is due at the time of service. For new patients, 50% of the new patient appointment fee will be collected when your first appointment is scheduled. The remaining balance will be charged on the date of service/new patient appointment. Appointments canceled with at least 48 business-hours’ notice will receive a full refund of the prepayment. The pre-payment will not be refunded for canceled appointments with less than 48 business hours’ notice or missed/no-show appointments. New patients must pay with credit card for the first intake/consultation appointment.
Cancellation Policies
Please cancel appointments with at least 48 business hours’ notice, e.g., for a Monday appointment, you need to cancel by Thursday at the same time of the appointment and for a Tuesday appointment, you need to cancel by Friday at the same time of the appointment. Cancellations with fewer than 48 business hours’ notice or no-shows will result in a fee equivalent to the full normal visit rate.
Patient Rights
You are entitled to the highest quality of psychiatric care available. Psychotherapy is a joint undertaking, with rights and responsibilities shared by both of us. At your initial visit, your provider will conduct a thorough review of your current complaints and of your background. By the end of the initial visit, your provider will offer my preliminary impressions, and we will discuss your treatment options. Sometimes, psychotherapy alone will suffice, but often a combination of psychotherapy and medication management yields the best results. One of the most important aspects of a therapeutic relationship is the goodness-of-fit between therapist and client, so the initial visit is also your opportunity to determine for yourself if your provider is the right therapist for you. If after the initial assessment we determine it is a poor fit, your provider will make referrals to other providers that may be a better option for providing treatment.
